Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Gauja Labs SIA (reg. No. 40203736314), Šarlotes iela 18A - 3, Rīga, LV-1001 ("Dokyma", "we") for your use of dokyma.com and the Dokyma service. If you use Dokyma for a company, you accept these terms for that company and confirm you are authorised to do so. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

1. The service

Dokyma looks for domains and websites that may impersonate brands you monitor. It scans domain registrations, DNS, certificate logs and websites, scores what it finds, alerts you and helps you report abuse. Detection is automated and based on public data: Dokyma will not find every impersonating site, may flag sites that turn out to be harmless, and cannot make a registrar or host take anything down. Treat its findings as leads to verify, not as legal conclusions.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and give accurate account information.
• Keep your credentials safe. You are responsible for activity under your account and your team's accounts, and for the members you invite.
• Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.

3. Domains you monitor

Only enroll domains that you own or are authorised to protect. An unverified domain gets a single scan. Ongoing monitoring and abuse reporting require proving control of the domain through DNS verification (or another verification we accept). We may suspend monitoring of any domain whose ownership is in doubt.

4. Abuse reports

When you send an abuse report through Dokyma, you are the reporter: the email names you, replies go to your address, and you confirm that you believe in good faith that the site infringes or impersonates your brand and that the report is accurate. Do not use reports to harass, compete unfairly or make claims you cannot support. We limit how many reports can be sent, only allow reports where we see evidence of active abuse, and may stop reporting from any account that misuses it.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use Dokyma to monitor, probe or report on domains you have no right to protect;
• use findings, screenshots or reports to harass, threaten or defame anyone;
• attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or bypass the limits or security of the service, or access it by automated means other than features we provide for that;
• resell or share access to the service without our written permission;
• use Dokyma for anything illegal.

6. Plans and payment

• Plans, prices and limits are listed on the pricing page. The Free plan has no charge.
• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout.
• You can cancel or downgrade at any time in billing settings. The change takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then. If your new plan allows fewer domains, the domains you do not keep are suspended, not deleted, and are restored if you upgrade again.
• If a payment fails and is not resolved, your team moves to the Free plan.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. A change applies from your next billing period after the notice.

7. Your data

You keep all rights to the data you put into Dokyma. You give us permission to use it only to run, secure and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to send us that data and for how you use the results.

8. Our service

Dokyma, its software and its content belong to us and our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service, not ownership of it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Dokyma available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scans can be delayed, rate limited or skipped, and we may change or remove features. We will give reasonable notice before removing a feature that is part of a paid plan you are on.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Dokyma and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if your use creates legal or security risk for us or others, or if we stop offering the service. When we end access without cause, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.

11. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in these terms, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of results or non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability arising from these terms or the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Indemnity

You will compensate us for claims and losses arising from domains you enroll without authorisation, abuse reports you send, or your breach of these terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Dokyma after that date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you can cancel before then.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, and its courts have jurisdiction, without depriving consumers of protections they have under the law of the country where they live.
